News Junkie.
Deadline Meeter.

My passion is telling stories–on the air, in print or around the dinner table.  I have been lucky enough to interview some fascinating people–including a young man from war-torn Sudan, a professor who does some of his best lessons on skis, a three-time cancer survivor, a formerly homeless man who now sells real estate, and a Syrian immigrant turned New England Patriots fan.

One of my favorites was a 90-year-old World War II veteran who had landed on Utah Beach in 1944. He remembered the details as it it were yesterday. (Listening to his story was really a treat and, as an added bonus, the show was honored with a Telly award.)

You can read or hear all of these stories over in the Work section of this website including a few from the winter I spent in Canada (yes…winter in Canada!) where I attended a nearly year-long post-graduate certificate program in journalism.  I took eight classes at once and never missed a deadline.  In other words, I have gotten pretty good at juggling lots of things at once–and keeping my sense of humor too. So look around, drop me a note, tell me a story or just say hi.
